of the Spanish Umayyad lineage. His Christian name was Fernando de C\u00f3rdoba y V\u00e1lor and his Muslim name was Muhammad ibn Umayya. This character is an important figure in the resistance and revolt of the Moors during the Inquisition in Spain. During this period, he was proclaimed King of the Moors.
