bin Yahya (Don Pedro de Granada Venegas), Alonso Granada Venegas (1467-1534), born Ali Omar ibn Nazar, played the role of peacemaker with the Morisco community after the fall of Granada. In 1506 he was the infantry leader who conquered Oran in 1509. He was named \"Commander of the Armada\" in 1516. He accumulated lands and privileges thanks to his victories, especially in Campot\u00e9jar and Jayena.
