The Magos Prizes are made up of private donations, legacies, donations from companies and organisations or institutional sponsorships. The sums donated are kept in a dedicated account. Each year, they generate stable income (dividends) on the principle of an endowment fund. The dividends are allocated to a Magos Prize. In order to be able to act in a significant way, the Magos Prizes can only be awarded once a minimum of one million Euros has been raised.<\/p>\n

ZERO% OF OPERATING COSTS TAKEN FROM THE DONATION.
<\/b>Donations specifically earmarked for a prize are paid into the fund in full, with the exception of those obtained by business or commercial contributors. Their commissions may not exceed 15% for donations up to \u20ac100,000, 10% up to \u20ac500,000 and 8% above \u20ac500,000. <\/p>\n

ONE DONATION, ONE LIFETIME SUPPORT.
<\/b>Donors have the opportunity to make their generosity last over time thanks to a logic of intergenerational solidarity. Operating expenses are financed from dividends. In no case may they exceed 35% of the dividends. <\/p>\n

A SIGNIFICANT TAX EXEMPTION FOR DONORS & COMPANIES.
<\/b>For France, 60% tax reduction for companies, 66% for individuals.
Bequests are exempt from all inheritance and transfer taxes. To make a bequest, all you need to do is draw up a will and name the Magos Foundation as the beneficiary. The Magos Foundation can also be designated as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy, in part or in full, when the policy is taken out or subsequently, by modifying the beneficiary clause. No deductions or inheritance taxes will be withheld. The life insurance will be used entirely to support the actions of the fund. <\/p>\n

AN INDEPENDENT SUPERVISORY BOARD.
<\/b>The Magos Awards are governed by a rigorous and transparent system. It is based on two bodies: the Bureau of the Foundation, composed of three administrators, and the Supervisory Board, whose roles are defined by the Foundation’s statutes. The Supervisory Board gives advice and makes recommendations on the policy and actions of the funds dedicated to the Magos Prizes. It ensures that the ethical principles set out are respected. Each year, the Foundation’s balance sheets and activity reports are certified by an auditor. <\/p>\n

ADVISORS\/MEMBERS OF THE JURY.
